* Please note that the above prices are starting prices. The vast majority of the time these are the prices you will be charged. There are however times when the condition of the interior of your tank will effect the price. The following are steps you can take to help keep your costs down.
|
1) When your tank is unloaded have your driver inspect it before leaving. It is common for a tank to arrive at our facility with 300 or more gallons of product left inside. In a worse case scenario we have found as much as 1000 gallons of product left inside.
2) If you are hauling liquid products that solidify at cooler temperatures have your driver add at least 200 gallons of water to the tank after it has been unloaded and keep the tank heated.
3) Do not leave empty tanks sitting for extended amounts of time after unloading. This is especially true of tanks that haul eggs or dairy products. When you combine these products with several days of sitting in the Summer sun, the tanks they are in usually need to be washed out twice.
